Delegations

Spend time and learn with Mayan community groups working for peace, justice, reconciliation and human rights in Guatemala. Visit schools for families affected by genocide; legal clinic involved in cases of genocide and women’s rights; women’s cooperatives and an organization which produces Just Us! Fair trade coffee, organic agriculture projects and communities affected by Canadian mining.

 
Cost: $2200 - covers registration, airfare and travel, carbon offsetting, accommodation, meals, translation, and expenses for leaders and partners. 


The 2011 delegation will take place from October 22 – November 5.


Full participation in orientation and re-entry sessions is required. The final date for applications is May 27, 2011.
